I've started this group because I'm a huge fan of the strategy boardgame, Agricola. This group is for fellow fans who'd like a regular chance to play the game, build skills, etc. Newbies are welcome...we'll teach the game to you. People who own the game (and all the expansion cards) are *particularly* welcome.

Dominion is a fun, easy to learn, deck building card game. Each player starts with an identical, very small deck of cards. In the center of the table is a selection of other cards the players can "buy" as they can afford them. Through their selection of cards to buy, and how they play their hands as they draw them, the players construct their deck on the fly, striving for the most efficient path to the precious victory points by game end. 2-5 players. The game usually takes 30-45 minutes. No gam …
This meetup has been going on since about November 2011, as a place to organize weekly game nights. We play mostly Euro-style strategy games, such as those found on boardgamegeek.com. So, experienced strategy gamers are preferred but if you don't mind learning some relatively complicated rules, we are happy to teach. We are always looking to recruit others to the die-hard boardgamer cult. Welcome!

You wear your Chuck Tailors more often then high heels. Sarcasm and irony are part of your repertoire. You're classy most of the time but love a little trashy here and there. You relish in the tackiness of the Tonga Room/Medieval Times/Madonna Inn because they're all so ridiculous. Your tongue is sticking out in 75% of the photos you're in. You typically find yourself hanging out with guys and every once and a while you think "I could use a couple of friends who are female". You secretly l …

This group is for 30-40 somethings who prefer enjoying a homecooked meal instead of a crowded restaurant or a boardgame get together instead of a noisy bar. We enjoy the company of others and want to build community but don't really dig the party scene. Looking forward to getting together for picnics, afternoon canning and quaint potluck dinners.
