We had a movie thread a while back, thought it was time for another one.

I know Mark was going to see Ironman and Doug was talking about Speed Racer. I'd be curious to hear what you guys thought of them.

The big one for me is the new Indy movie. I'm hopeful that it's really going to be good. I'm acting like a twelve year old kid, bouncing off the walls, waiting for it.

The new Iron man was great. Probably the best super hero movie I have ever seen.

I don't usually get too excited about movies, but I'm interested in seeing this one at First Run prices [I usually go to The Movieland 8, a second run movie house].

As far as Speed Racer and Iron Man go.... call me a litereary snob, but I generally won't go to movies based on comic books. I learned that when I saw the over hyped "Batman " movie - it sucked big time. I mean, what kind of plot can a movie based on a comic book have? It was true to the comic book? The only movie based on a comic book that held my attention was Sin City.

I'm going to see "Shine A Light", Martin Scorcese's documentary on the Rolling Stones in the next few days if anyone else is interested.

I have not gone to see Speed Racer yet as I am having trouble finding someone to go with....

I am super jazzed about the new Indy movie. I don't know if Ruth has seen the others or not so I may have to have an Indy marathon so she is properly prepared...

I want to see Speed RAcer, call me when you're free.
Also, we're planning an Indy marathon here as well. Michael hasn't seen all the first ones yet, and I got the box set for Christmas last year.
