This thread is for organizers to post what they want to run next week and players looking to join those games. Monday at 7pm we'll post the game list for the week and that's when players should sign up. Late games may be added so you may want to check back before Wednesday.

Slot 1
Amazing Space Venture - Jenna - Filled - (Jenna, Laurie, Bobbie, Doug)
Age of Empires - Rodney - Filled - (Rodney, Ryan, Joel, Don, Shelia, Tom)

Slot 2

I will try to make it to this one but ill sign as a maybe. My wife graduates from nursing school this week and I've been pulling double duty for my strike at work so time is getting tight. Can't wait for it all to be over!!

It's been a long time.

Slot one: Funny Friends
I'll cap it at 5 players

If their is enough interest I'll run Stone Age. This is a new release so I have no idea how it plays, but it does look like it has the potential to be a pretty good game. If their isn't enough interest I can always run something else or jump into someone else's game.

I scorned Funny Friends the last couple of times it was offered because it was a Friedemann Friese title. After looking at the game on The Geek it looks pretty cool. I definitely want in on this one.

I'll also offer up "The quickest-playing auto racing game in existence", Reiner Knizia's Formula Motor Racing for slot 2.

And if Joe wants me to run it I'll bring Slapshot for slot 3.

Rodney,

Have you ever played Big City? It looks like there might just be a few people left over from the Funny Friends game and Big City is best with 3 or 4 (3 especially). If you aren't interested in that, I can also bring along Trias, but I think that is prolly best with 4 or 5 and I don't know that there will be enuff non-Funny Friends players to play it. I'll bring both along with my Zendo pyramids or something. We can figure something out -- tho not your stone age game...that sounds like typical pasted on theme euro cube pushing to me....

Doug,

What about Age of Empires?

AoE was just played at a Wednesday meetup not all that long ago. I mentioned Big City because, quite frankly, its one of my favorite games and I haven't gotten to play it in a while. I also mentioned Trias because Rodney expressed an interest in playing it. I wouldn't mind playing AoE in the near future tho... See if I can keep my undefeated streak going...

Well, based on my new resolution to look for my games before Wednesday morning due to my poor organizational skills, I realized after much fruitless searching that I lent out Funny Friends and have not yet gotten it back. Instead, I will offer up:

Amazing Space Venture
2-4 players
60 minutes

I have not yet played Big City or Trias.

FWIW, a couple others mentioned playing AOE again, although I'm not sure if any of those people are coming besides myself. I think that may be one of my favorites :) Either way it doesn't matter to me... I'm easy... I'll play anything or run something if need be.
