I thought I'd start a new discussion about games that other players within our group own that I'd like to play. I simply visited our Nickel City Gamers guild and entered names of games that I'm interested in seeing hit the table sometime soon. Below is a list of games I came up with. Feel free to add to this list of games owned by others that might interest you. Perhaps others will offer to run some of these requested games sometime in the near future.

i think its still in the car from when Joe took it to learn and then we never played iit. I am a bad teacher, but if you want to borrow a game and teach it, just holler!!!!!!

I'd happily run Bootleggers or Trias... I enjoy both of those games. A fair warning about Trias, tho -- Altho the theme seems light hearted and fun, this is most definitely a brain-burning, mathy game. Be prepared to get crushed the 1st time you play as it really takes an entire play thru to really understand the game (most of the scoring comes in right at the end). Maybe next week I'll crack out Bootleggers...

I actually own the game but never took the time to figure it out. Thus the reason for hoping that someone that owned it could run it :)

A mathy game? Can I bring a calculator? biggrin And btw... I'm used to getting crushed the 1st time I play most games, so how would this be any different tongue

Didn't you play Mu with us at D'youville? (It was downstairs in the coffee shop last Fall.) I'm pretty sure that you bought it about a week after you played it.

Of course, I might have mixed it up with another one, that happens with a lot of games. tongue

I'm afraid I'm in the same spot as Bobbie on Shadow of the Emporer. I'd like to play it but the rules are problematic and I'd love for someone to teach me the game.

As far as Silverton goes, you'd be better off playing Bobbie's copy of this game as I believe she owns the updated Mayfair edition. The Mayfair edition has been updated with streamlined markets, rules, etc. and is the version you'll run into at Cons. I own the original Two Wolves edition which along with the Two Wolves New Mexico expansion make up a longer playing, more complicated version of the Mayfair edition [which is the version of Silverton played in the Puffin' Billy Tournaments at Origins, Gencon, etc.]
