I just picked up a copy of the ever elusive Agricola and I'm dying to try it out. Anybody interested in getting together somewhere to play?

I'd love to try it out, but I won't have any free time until the weekend of the 30th/31st.

Maybe Susan and her husband would like to play. It has lots of wooden cubes!

Actually, it turns out that weekend is bad for me.

I'm going to be in Seattle for Penny Arcade Expo.

Too bad about this weekend, Evan. I would have been up for it! Maybe some other time? We're actually still open for the weekend. Been a while since I've played Puerto Rico, and we have an epic type game called Arkham Horror that Bill's been itching to play.

I'm always up for gaming on the weekends. I will be in town the weekend of the 5th if people want to play (I don't anymore impromptu vacations will be popping up again).

I'm a fan of Arkham Horror and could get other people to play. I also own a couple of similar RPG-style games that you might enjoy like Descent or Last Night on Earth. My favorite is Fury of Dracula which is a hybrid RPG & deduction game.

And of course, Agricola is still on the table. I've played it a few times and it is really, really good.

I will be able to join on weekend evenings, but after this weekend I will be working during the day. Looks like you and Bill have a lot in common when it comes to games, he's expressed interest in every one of the one's you've mentioned, Evan.

It's kind of ironic that as the topic of Arkham Horror came up, I had just gotten the base game and the Kingsport expansion. Haven't even read the rules yet. I love the Lovecraft mythos and try to see or play anything related.

I, too, can only play on weekends, or sometimes Friday nights. I try to keep it to only once a week so that I don't irritate the wife that has to look after a 2 year old and an 8 month old by herself while I'm gaming.

I might be able to play or even host a gaming evening on Friday, the 5th of September. I'll be able to commit more next week. I just received my copy of Agricola (I think they chopped down a forest to make the game), and an interesting game called Airships. Of course, I would love to play Arkham Horror also...
