Alene, I am definitely coming early this time. I feel so sorry that I missed the fundraiser. I got the address wrong, and on top of that, work has been insane lately. So I owe it to you, really. I'll bring some pop & chips, too. Eddie, Werewolf would be a perfect game to play here!

As decided upon by members in attendance in January, regular attendees are expected to contribute $1 at each Meetup to help support the cost of the website ($72 each six months). Surplus funds (if any) will be used to purchase snacks and or prizes at the end of the billing cycle. Automatic payments are collected by Meetup from the Organizer (Alene) in Feb and Aug.

      •  Played some new games, met great new people and will never be able to see another Monty Python movie without thinking of Chris and David (two crazy men)sitting across from me redoing almost the whole show line by line! LOL
      •  It was my first time and it was great. I met some cool people and can't wait to do it again!
      •  I was a lot more involved with this event than I had in the past. I arrived about 45 minutes late, bringing pop and chips. (I was pleased that people liked the snacks!) We typically have a group of Eurogamers (which I normally join) and another group of more casual players. I'd arrived a bit too late for the Euro, and they ended up leaving early for different reasons. The remaining group played Ticket to Ride with great enthusiasm, delved into a couple wacky games of Monty Python Flux, gave one of my games ("China") a try, and we tried to slip in one last game of Million Dollar Password before the library closed. I enjoyed the event, though I wish I could have talked through the rules to China a bit more. China's a "Euro," and it's elegant as Euros tend to be, but people were a bit confused over some aspects of the game. I'd like to try it again with the group, if they'd be up for it. Fluxx, though, is always a ton of fun for folks just wanting to play and have fun.
      •  Learning "Wasabi" was fun -- and appetizing!
