Introduction
45, father of the best kids in the world (age 15,12,10 - and yes they are gamers). Lived in Austin since '89. As for games: "Euro" games, war games, board games, card games (Family business, Bang, Apples to apples). I want to play PuertoRico. :)
What was your favorite game to play as a child? What about now? What was the last game that you played? What "partnership" game do you enjoy? What is your favorite "party game?" How old are your kids and what are their favorite games?

Kid: Monopoly. Teen & College: Avalon Hill games, esp, KingMaker, Squad Leader, other war games. Now: some German, some other (Tides of Iron), some older. Pirateer. Zooleretto. Alhambra. Card games - see intro. My kids are gamers, too - see intro.

Greetings

  •  It was nice meeting your family as well. The boys did a great job of introducing me to Catan. Speaking of which, BoardGameGeek has an alternate player aid for Seafarers which includes the cost of ships (which I kept forgetting) at <http://www.boardgamegeek.com/file/inf...;. There is also a card guide for Family Business at <http://www.boardgamegeek.com/file/inf...;, which would cut down on the need to pass around the rules.

  •  The family that plays together stays together! Way to raise some gamers.
