Update on Group

Hey everyone

I have to announce that the meetup group will be closing it's doors effective May 1, 2008. Due to scheduling conflicts and member turnout it is becoming harder to choose a date and time for this great group to get together.

So, in light of that, if there is someone that would like to take over the reins as hosting the event, we can keep the insanity rolling, and I can offer up my assistance as co-host. Otherwise, we will have to call it a day.

Hi Everyone,

I'm an assistant organizer with the Toronto Area Gamers (TAG) meetup group and I'd like to invite you to join our group and come out to our monthly meetups. Caralee has accepted our offer to organize and provide a location to host any boardgames you'd like to play.

We meet monthly at the Yellow Griffin Pub at Keele & Bloor and there are always several board and card games on the go. Our group used to be the York D&D group, but over the past year we've been adding a steady number of boardgamers (myself included) and have recently renamed our group to better reflect our broader game repetoire. Be sure to let everyone know what games you're interested in playing on this discussion thread.

We look forward to seeing you (& Caralee) on May 4th! I'd also like to hear what games you'd like to play in subsequent montly meetups.
