A gathering of 20-40 folks to play the world's best boardgames. All are welcome.

The Atlanta Board & Card Game Meetup Group meets the second Wednesday and last Saturday each month. There will be games available for play and the Loop serves food and has drinks, beer and wine, so you really don't need to bring anything. If you have something you want to play you are welcome to do so. We get a good group of folks of all ages.

If you are a woman wondering where all the nice single men with good jobs are, they come and play boardgames. I'm not kidding, ask my wife. There's a enclosed section reserved for us and we can use the tables in the main part as well, so we've plenty of space. We will play until closing at 10pm on Wednesdays and 11pm on Saturdays, so even if you can't make it at the start time, feel free to drop by. We generally play shorter games to start, so late-comers don't have to wait too long to get into a game.

What was the name of the smuggling game we played? That was a hoot!

New to the area - will try to make it tonight. Hopefully you don't mind teaching these games to a newcomer!

I planned to attend the Saturday meeting just passed, but I got sick. Looking forward to meeting other "gamers". Sounds like fun!

No Wednesday night classes for once! I'm looking forward to finally getting to game during the week. :-)

Who attended?

    •  Not so much of a newbie anymore, I taught others how to play Zoolaretto. If you know me, I'm not very good at explaining games, but we did well together. A side note, I got to play my prototype with David C. and Randy. Offered some great tips & Ideas. Thanks guys!! David D.
    •  I arrived by myself and was able to jump into a game immediately. Several other newcomers were there as well. I had a fun time, met new people, and was introduced to new games!
    •  Good turnout. Lots of people. Everyone seemed very nice and easy to meet.
