Introduction: Hi. I grew up in the Canadian Maritimes and moved to Calgary in the summer of '06. I've always been a gamer. I'm looking to put together or join a weekly gaming group like I had in Halifax, and I am willing to host.
What type of games do you prefer (party games, abstract games like go or chess, war games, strategy games, etc.)?: I'm interested in all types of games. Whatever the group I'm with is interested in is fine with me. I'll play anything from party games to deep strategy games. I'm also interested in designing games.
What are your favorite games?: Right now? Chess, Magic, Runebound, Puerto Rico, Blokus, Game of Thrones, Ticket to Ride, and many others. I just played Die Macher for the first time and loved it, and Descent was also quite fun.
