CalCon will be hosting a variety of RPG/CCG-focused events on the Saturday to keep everyone in touch and have some fun. The cost is $10 per person if you've pre-registered for CalCon 2010 and gets you raffle ticket as well, and you can pre-register for 2010 at this event (and save $5 off).

WestCan Premier Events will be running a pre-release for Magic: The Gatherings newest expansion; "Zendikar". There will also be RPGA events for Dungeons and Dragons for new and old characters and players. There will be ~$1,000.00 in door and raffle prizes, plus a variety of other prizes, come on down and join us. There isn't a set schedule of games, bring your own, or play from our new game library. :)

Saturday seems to be getting pretty busy. We gave away a couple hundred dollars in prizes Friday night... Sunday we'll do the same, SATURDAY we'll give out almost a $1,000 ish dollars in prizes and games and such! =)

The venue is the Days Inn Calgary South 3828 MacLeod Trail SE. On McLeod Trail, near the 39th Ave LRT station and accessable to bus transit. Hotel rooms are $79 per night.

Maximums; 128 Magic players, 30 DnD players, 50 board gamers.

Costs are confusing, let me clarify; Magic Pre-Release Sat is $25, board gaming (with all those extra prizes) Sat is $10 if you have a CalCon 2010 membership- which are also on sale for $30 (which is $15 off the regular price), RPGA DnD Fri/Sat/Sun (and includes board gaming on Sat) is $50 with a CalCon 2010 registration and includes a year membership to the RPGA in Calgary (again CalCon 2010 registrations are on sale at the event).
