Ask for me. Or just look for a pile of games.

Rainy Day Games will be hosting an afternoon of board games Sunday, May 25th starting at 1PM.

This event is open to regulars and newcomers. I will be bringing an assortment of games to play ranging from card games that last a few minutes to board games that could last a few hours. If you have a favorite game to teach, bring it along. Or you can play something from Rainy Day Games' collection of games instead.

When you arrive, head to the back of the store where the tables are. There may be other events going on, but you'll be able to identify the board gamers by the brightly colored game boxes near them. Feel free to approach anyone playing a board game. They can tell you a little about what they're playing; help you find a game to join; or maybe even invite you to join their game!

Have fun gaming, see you there!

    •  Had a wonderful time. Games that I remember that hit the tables were TransAmerica, Stone Age, Brass, Cuba, Mr. Jack; there were a number of others as well. It was such fun to have some young gamers join us.

Lots of people and lots of space to play. There was over 20 people playing board games and still at least 3 tables left empty. I saw Cuba, Airships, Samurai, For Sale, Stone Age, China, and a few other games being played. The staff at the game store were very good at encouraging onlookers to join in and made sure we had everything we needed.

I had a lot of fun learning some new games and meeting new people. I am looking forward to the next get together.
