As usual, anyone who challenges anyone on any battle with any weapon....... state them here........... or forever rest in peace......or whatever..

I'll be heading up the Osha Land-bridge with most of army group centre towards smolensk, the door-way to moscow.......... hope i can find weakness in your russian lines - steve.

12 turns is a long time to defend........ the germans practically have 24 movement phases!

hope you can think of some strategy to halt my advance......

I accept the challenge to defend Mother Russia.

Look at the bright side. You'll get to spend that horrible first Russian winter in Warsaw!

Seems like there will be some new comers to the session.

I'll bring 2 simple-self-contained wargame along, just for these guys/gals.

(1) Gettysburg smithonian series. (Simple game of Civil War, Teachable in 15 mins, done in 2 hours of less) One of the best game I've ever played.

(2) Self Designed African Campaign. (Rommel at it again in the Desert, Teachable in 15 mins, done in 2 hours or less. Block game)

Hope these games will inspire them.

Would like to thank steve for another job well done on the eastern front.... he managed to stop me at Smolensk and save mother Russia. THink He won a substantial victory.

Besides PGG, there were other games played this nite.

(1) Hannibal : Rome and Carthage at each others throat again. Terence took the day against Sng.

(2) Command and colors : Ancients with Michael and the guys. Not sure who won.

(3) Gettysburg with Siao and 2B pencil (sorry, forgot your name again, must be getting late). The COnfederate took a beating and Siao conceeded the battle. The Union saved the day again.

(4) Frontline North Africa fought out twice by 3 new comers to wargaming. Once won by the Axis, the other....erm ..... not very sure who won............( I would really appriciate, if you guys could give me some run down of this design)

Perhaps, steve, you could try them out and give me your most bluntant-no-holds-barred comments.

Thanks everyone for dropping by, and Thanks to Mind Cafe for their Hospitality.
